Week 1: #NUtakesIreland

Backpacking Packing and Ireland Touring.

Monday 11 May
9:32 pm - Redmond - Ethan's House
As twilight followed the sleeping sun, I had just arrived back from buying everything I needed for the trip -- and I scored some killer sweet European shoes! Granted, they were $70... and Sketchers... None-the-less, they're so extremely comfortable that my feet haven't hurt, and they blend in so well with the European style that some close people couldn't recognize me. (I'm actually writing this in Scotland right now on 25 May, so I'll try not to jump back and forth between dates!) With my shoes, journal, pencils, toiletries, and "new" Goodwill pants, I think I'm ready to pack!

11:59 pm - Redmond - Ethan's House
Okay. Now I'm ready to pack! Oh yes, did I mention I'm only halfway done with my laundry (a process that takes about 5 hours)?
(See attached link the next time I get wifi!)

Tuesday 11 May
5:03 pm - Redmond - Ethan's House
Well... After sorting out all the clothes I want to bring with me to Europe, and rolling those clothes, and organizing the chaos of what I'm going to pack, my body decided to take a nap around 3:00 am and wake me up without an alarm. Well done, body. Well done.
Okay. LET'S START PACKING!

8:39 am - Kirkland/SEA-TAC Airport - On the bus
Ha ha! Packed everything in 1.5 hours - technically. After loading some more things into a shared storage unit, and releasing my plant into the wild outside of the NU chapel by the pond, we loaded the bus and are on our way to the airport! Peace out, Washington! I hope my plant is doing well by the pond; "Much love my friend."

11:31 am - SEA-TAC Airport - On the plane
(See attached link the next time I get wifi!)

I'll try to finish this the next time I get wifi!
